Yamato Restaurant – The genuine taste of JAPAN
The roots of the Japanese restaurant Yamato were established by its founder, co-owner, and the chef Marek Hora in the fall of 2013. With the support of the Czech familiar face – chef Zdenek Pohlreich – we managed to set up a favorable course and potency towards the success of Yamato. The chef’s name “Hora” means mountain in English. It has been mainly through his mountain of work and diligence that we were able to establish ourselves well in the community. We enjoy our diners not only from the Czech republic but also from all over the world, including Japanese visitors. We often hear from the Japanese visitors how they feel just like at home when dining in Yamato. It is their praise and many Japanese awards that we greatly appreciate and it is very important for us to be preferably as authentic as any Japanese cuisine can be.
